Dufour Plans for Japan
AirMobility, Inc., of Japan has signed a distribution agreement with Switzerland-based Dufour Aerospace, the companies announced in June. Established in 2019, AirMobility, Inc., aims to build a sales and services platform for eVTOL to provide services that enable eVTOL to navigate easily and safely. Including its Air Mobility Service Collaboration Platform (ASCP), the company supports the entry of global companies into the Japanese market. Dufour Aerospace was founded in 2017 by Thomas Pfammatter, Jasmine Kent and Dominique Steffen to develop, build and exploit tiltwing eVTOL aircraft. In March 2021, Dufour announced that Sascha Hardegger joined the team as the chief commercial officer.
