Oregon Considers JA1 Pulse

Jump Aero and the Oregon Department of Aviation signed a memorandum of understanding to explore the potential of Jump Aero’s JA1 Pulse eVTOL aircraft, the California-based company revealed on Nov. 28. Jump and the state of Oregon will consider how the JA1 Pulse could improve the state’s emergency response capabilities. Should Oregon decide to pursue the JA1 Pulse, it may need to acquire as many as 126 of the aircraft to ensure that first responders are able to access remote areas in time. Jump Aero revealed the JA1 Pulse, a single seat eVTOL aircraft designed specifically for emergency services missions, in September 2023 (see “Electric VTOL News,” Vertiflite, Nov/Dec 2023).
