Skyports Raises $110M in Series C

London-based vertiport developer Skyports announced on April 17 that it had raised over $110M in a Series C round. Iridium Concesiones de Infraestructuras, a subsidiary of ACS Group, a Spain-based global construction conglomerate, led the round; France’s Groupe ADP, a long-time investor in Skyports, also participated. The funding will go towards developing a network of vertiports in Dubai in anticipation of beginning AAM operations in the country in 2026. Skyports is working with Joby Aviation and the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority on the project. As a result of the round, Iridium CEO Nuria Haltiwanger will join the Skyports Board of Directors as chairperson, while two others from the company will also join the board.
