Aerial Rider or also known as the ZTYT Feixia Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2023. Its roots go back to its original company forming in 2001 which developed UAVs, aerial cameras and other technologies. The original company created and successfully tested a helicopter parachute system in 2014. The company has kept evolving until Aerial Rider was formed and the company is in the business of making air cargo and passenger hybrid-electric VTOL aircraft. The company also manufactures turboshaft drones and aircraft. The slogan of the company is "let everyone enjoy the joy of flying."

As of January 2025, not much is known about their aircraft because their are very few specifications on their website. In addition, their press releases don't explain have names of their aircraft, very little specifications and provide very little information on their aircraft. One of the company's press releases names an aircraft the "Jumbo" and another one called the "Big Mac". However, no description of either of these aircraft is listed in the press releases. There is also a mention of a 9A01 aircraft but no information is available.

In fact, their website has no phone number listed, their contact email address doesn't work and the company's contact form on their website does not work. If anyone knows how to contact this company by phone or email, please email us here: info@eVTOL.news

1A Series long range air cargo hybrid-electric VTOL production model aircraft
The 1A Series is a long-range air cargo hybrid-electric VTOL production model aircraft. The aircraft is piloted remotely or uses an autopilot and has autonomous takeoff and landing capability. This aircraft is capable of carrying both surveillance and air cargo payloads. The aircraft can be outfitted with various gimbaled cameras, from regular cameras to multispectral cameras. The aircraft can be used for aerial applications such as fire inspections and prevention, water environment management, early warning flood protection, environment inspection and intelligence missions.

The aircraft has four VTOL-only propellers, one pusher propeller, five electric motors and is powered by a hybrid-electric power source. The payload weight of the aircraft is unknown. The aircraft was one main wing and one horizontal tail. The fuselage is made from carbon fiber composite for a high strength to low weight ratio. The aircraft is small enough to be carried on a trailer. It is unknown what type of landing gear the aircraft has.

Specifications:

  • Aircraft type: Surveillance and air cargo hybrid-electric VTOL production model aircraft
  • Piloting: Remote or autonomous
  • Capacity: Sensor equipment, cameras or air cargo
  • Cruise speed: Unknown
  • Range: Long-range aircraft
  • Maximum payload weight: Unknown
  • Propellers: 5 propellers (4 VTOL-only propellers, 1 pusher propeller)
  • Electric motors: 5 electric motors
  • Power source: Hybrid-electric power source (there could be an all batteries power source option)
  • Fuselage: Carbon fiber composite
  • Wing: 1 main wing with winglets
  • Tail: 1 horizontal stabilizer
  • Landing gear: Unknown
  • Safety features: Distributed Electric Propulsion (DEP) uses multiple propellers or electric ducted fans, each powered by electric motors, to increase safety through redundancy. If one or more components fail, the remaining ones can still ensure a safe landing. There are also redundancies of critical components in the sub-systems of the aircraft providing safety through redundancy. Having multiple redundant systems on any aircraft decreases having any single point of failure.
